hello, imaginary readers!
this is stupid!
god knows
how long I've been staring at my laptop's screen, not knowing what to write
for my first post. i even googled about it but I still have no idea.
oh, come on! i can totally do
this! okay, how about if I write about why i started this blog? well, i had a few blogs before this but they're all short-lived and deleted. probably it was because i made them for the wrong
reasons. you know, sebab ikut trend and nak glemer. ahaks!
"so why start
blogging again?" tanya my imaginary readers.
okay, begini. i'm a tesl
graduate/a future english teacher (maybe in some pedalaman in sabah/sarawak, we'll have to wait and see). i do enjoy teaching. but honestly, teaching is not
my passion.
truthfully, i've always been interested to work
in the creative industries. and one of my cita-citas (yes, plural. i'm still
figuring out what i really want to do for a living) is to be a
writer/copywriter. not that i've ever considered myself as a good writer but with
some works, who knows I can be one, one day? so i thought to myself, "why not polish my writing skills via
blogging?"
plus, i love
to travel. and before this, i was an ignorant traveller. i didn't really bother
to learn and take notes about the places i visited. now i'm a bit menyesal lah sebab i've forgotten about a lot of stuffs. so since i'll be travelling again in the future (insyaAllah), i thought, "why not preserve
those memories and knowledge by writing about them?"
so this time, with this new blog, i want to do this for myself. for my own self-satisfaction. with no expectation whatsoever. insyaAllah.
so there you go. my first post!
